Meet Carmen!

Welcome to La Musa Design-Decorating Den Interiors. I’m Carmen, Principal Interior Designer I’m Carmen, Principal Interior Designer, Certified Home Stager, and Founder of La Musa Design, based in Oakville, Ontario. I specialize in transforming residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces into refined, functional, and inspiring environments that reflect each client’s unique vision and lifestyle. With years of international experience, I design beautifully balanced interiors that blend aesthetics with comfort and practicality while maintaining a strong respect for timelines and budgets.

Born in Italy and having lived in the UK for two decades, I graduated from the British Academy of Interior Design, where I began shaping my design philosophy—modern elegance grounded in timeless European sensibility. I hold several prestigious certifications, including Certified Interior Decorator (C.I.D.) through Certified Interior Decorators International, Certified Urban Designer from Sheridan College, and Certified Staging Professional (CSP) through CSP International — a globally recognized leader in home staging education and certification, with reach across the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, and South America.

At La Musa Design, I create customized spaces that spans from private residences, b&b, hotel, vacation rentals, and hospitality spaces, positioning design as both an art form and a strategic investment. My passion for design naturally led me to the real estate world, where I help homeowners and real estate professionals,  enhance property appeal and market value through strategic staging, property styling, and design-driven transformations. Whether you are preparing to sell, redesign, or start fresh, I bring creativity, precision, and genuine dedication to every project.

In collaboration with Decorating Den Interiors, I offer full-service interior design, including space planning, concept development, material sourcing, lighting design, color consultation, project management and final installation. As a 3D Visualization Expert, I also produce high-quality visualisations that allow clients to experience their future spaces before the transformation begins.

Outside of design, I am a proud mother of five, a lover of art museums and exhibitions, and a maker of handmade jewellery and artwork — because for me, creativity is a way of life.
